ABOUT it's just beth.
Beth Brinker came from Texas to Tennessee. She grew up in Pasa-get-down-dena, TX (Pasadena is just south of Houston, where they filmed Urban Cowboy!) and college at Texas A&M, where she studied Agricultural Communications and Journalism. It was during her college days that Beth started interviewing country artists for radio and television and has been at it ever since. She got my start working with The National FFA Organization, interviewing artists like Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Clay Walker and Luke Bryan. Any FFA-ers out there? Beth was all about that snazzy corduroy jacket in high school and it served her well.
After graduation, she made the move to Music City to live the dream. Beth is the first to tell you that she was a strange child growing up, reading Dolly Parton's biography at the lunch table and writing stories about Nashville and a red sequin dress like Reba sang about in Fancy. Oh how I wanted to she that girl. (She didn't know then what she was really singing about, obviously.) She also didn't know then that she would end up working on The Marty Stuart Show with a revolving door of legends and wearing a rhinestone jacket. What Texas girl doesn't love sparkles?
Beth was living the dream, but had always wanted to see the country through the window of a tour bus. And so it came, the opportunity to hit the road with The Country Throwdown Tour in the summer of 2010 with GAC. The crew, the artists, the fans...it was a big happy family. And that's where On The Brink with Beth Brinker was born.
Most recently, hosted The Harley Davidson® On The Road Report with Beth Brinker, capturing all the behind-the-scene action from Willie Nelson's Country Throwdown Tour.
Beth splits her time between Nashville and Los Angeles.
